I trace his phone to Nigeria even though the area code was Virginia which is where he said he moved from to Rochester area. Little details made me suspicious, he never sent a current picture. So I did and he seemed real, he was charming, kind, thoughtful, but when he sent me a pic of his bank account which had close to a million dollars in it and then asked me for a i Tunes card, I was like really!!!
He told me he was a widower, lost his wife in childbirth with their second child and that he had a 15yr. Things kept going with us for 7 months and when I wouldn't do anything for him he started getting distant with me. This scammer is using very nice profile pictures which did catch my attention immediately. So I accused him of being fake and he had the nerve to be offended.
I alert them once, and it's up to them if they have questions. They give you poor stories about their life so you feel sorry for them. I was in a big scam three years ago, and lost almost everything so I can tell today who is honest and who is not.
