Implementation: The applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of professional issues that affect speech-language pathology.
Issues typically include trends in professional practice, academic program accreditation standards, ASHA practice policies and guidelines, and reimbursement procedures.
The official graduate transcript or letter from the registrar must be received by the National Office no later than 1 year from the date the application was received.
Verification of the graduate degree is required of the applicant before the certificate is awarded.
