But the reality is, plenty of people out there are just looking for something casual.Being able to grow and maintain your relationship offline is critical as you go through the different phases of a relationship.As one who believes in casting a wide net, I tell singles that you really need to do both. In reality, online dating, if done correctly, is just a method or service that will get you out there in the real world to meet someone offline and meet more people.At the end of the digital day, if you're serious about meeting someone special, you must include a combination of both online and offline dating in your routine.Remember the goal of online dating is to take your relationship offline.Some singles admit they sleep with their cell phones in bed with them, or at least at arm’s reach, with 64 percent believing the quality of their relationships with those they are dating has improved as a result of mobile phone technology.Further delving into the study, it appears the acceptable response time to a text message from someone you’ve just started dating has shrunk.Internet dating, social dating, Facebook dating, or the old-fashioned way of meeting offline at work or with a little help from your friends or grandmother.There are so many more options available to singles dating in the digital age, yet so many can't seem to connect.
