These include not just governments, NGOs, refugees and other UN agencies, but also the private sector, international financial institutions and civil society, including think tanks, academia and faith leaders.
At the end of 2017, UNHCR and its partners will assess the application of the comprehensive response in these varied contexts.
The lessons we learn will inform the preparation of the global compact on Refugees, which the High Commissioner will include in his report to the UN General Assembly in 2018.
It is also being applied to the Somalia situation, requiring the involvement of Somalia’s Government and its neighbours in a regional approach.
